Terms of service for TechStop technology solutions and consulting services
Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of TechStop services including web development, virtual assistance, cloud solutions, IT consulting, and data management services ("Services").
By engaging TechStop services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please also review our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use TechStop services.

Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate project requirements and specifications
- Supply necessary access credentials and permissions
- Respond to requests for information in a timely manner
- Review and approve deliverables within agreed timeframes
- Make payments according to agreed terms
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary TechStop methods
Payment Terms
- Project costs are outlined in individual service agreements
- Payment schedules vary by project scope and duration
- Invoices are due within 30 days of receipt
- Late payments may incur additional fees
- Services may be suspended for overdue accounts
- All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes
Intellectual Property
Client-Owned Content
Clients retain ownership of their business data, content, and proprietary information provided to TechStop.
TechStop-Developed Solutions
Custom solutions developed specifically for clients become client property upon full payment. TechStop retains rights to general methodologies, frameworks, and non-client-specific code.
Third-Party Components
Third-party software, libraries, and services remain subject to their respective licenses and terms.
Service Level Agreement
Availability
- TechStop aims for 99.9% uptime for hosted services
- Scheduled maintenance windows are communicated in advance
- Emergency maintenance may occur with minimal notice
Support Response Times
- Critical issues: 1 hour response time
- High priority issues: 4 hours response time
- Standard requests: 24 hours response time
- General inquiries: 48 hours response time
Confidentiality
TechStop maintains strict confidentiality regarding client information, business processes, and proprietary data. This includes:
- Non-disclosure of client business information
- Secure handling of sensitive data
- Limited access to client systems and information
- Confidentiality obligations for all TechStop personnel
Limitation of Liability
TechStop's liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the 12 months preceding any claim. TechStop is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Third-party service interruptions or failures
- Client misuse of delivered solutions
Warranties and Disclaimers
Service Warranty
TechStop warrants that services will be performed with professional skill and care in accordance with industry standards.
Disclaimer
Except as expressly stated, services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Termination
Either party may terminate services with written notice:
- 30 days notice for ongoing services
- Immediate termination for material breach
- Immediate termination for non-payment
- Client remains responsible for work completed
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where TechStop operates. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the appropriate courts.
Changes to Terms
TechStop reserves the right to modify these Terms with 30 days written notice. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.
